Rates

All rates are GST (15%) inclusive and are in New Zealand dollars ($NZD).

Reception Hours

Summer: 7:00am – 9:00pm
Winter: 8:30am – 7:00pm
Christmas Day: Shortened hours

Seasons

Peak: 25 December – 31 January, Waitangi Weekend, and Easter Weekend
Shoulder: 1 February – 30 April and 26 September – 24 December
Low: 1 May – 25 September

Check-in and Check-out times

Check-in: From 2:00pm on the day of arrival
Check-out: By 10:00am on the day of departure
Late check-outs may be arranged in advance.

Late Check-in

If arriving after 10:00pm, please contact us during office hours at 027 248 1211 to make alternative check-in arrangements.

Deposits and Payments

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due 7 days before arrival.

Cancellations

Deposits are refundable if cancellation is made at least one month prior to the arrival date.
All peak season deposits are non-refundable.
No refunds for early check-outs, including due to weather disruptions.
Cancellations due to exceptional circumstances will be considered.

Minimum stays and tariffs

Minimum stay periods may apply to weekends, public holidays, and peak season.
Management reserves the right to alter tariffs without notice. Tariffs may vary based on availability.

Child Ages

Child rates apply to ages 2 to 12 years inclusive.
Children under 2 years old stay free.

Pet Policy

Dogs are allowed on sites by prior arrangement.
Dogs are not permitted in guest accommodation – no exceptions.
Please refer to our Pet Policy for more details.

Conduct

Guests are asked to keep noise levels down between 10:00pm and 7:30am. No music or radios after 10:00pm.
Alcohol must only be consumed on booked sites.
Tairua Campground reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate bookings without refund for disorderly conduct.
A $50 behaviour bond may be charged for disruptive behaviour.

Data Use Terms and Conditions

Personal information provided during registration or reservation will be stored in Tairua Campground’s central database and accessible by our office.
Tairua Campground will not share this information with third parties without your express permission, except as required by law.
